Young Tigers face SL today

Bangladesh Under-19 National Cricket Team will take on Sri Lanka U-19 today at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in UAE in their final group stage match of the U-19 Asia Cup.

Both Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have won their first two matches, and this match’s winner will decide the group champions. Currently, Bangladesh sit top of group A, courtesy of a better net run rate.

Bangladesh batsman Mahfijul Islam, who struck a ton in Bangladesh’s match against Kuwait, said that they were high on confidence after two wins from two.

“We are high on confidence from our two wins. We have had two good scores. We have prepared well, and we will try to win against Sri Lanka,” he said.
