BPL football to start from February 3

The 2021-22 season of the Bangladesh Premier League football will commence from February 3, said a media release from Bangladesh Football Federation.

The decision came after the meeting of the BFF’s professional league management committee which took place on Tuesday at the BFF office.

BFF also declared seven venues across the country where the matches of the BPL will take place.

The venues are; Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium Gopalganj, Shaheed Ahsanullah Master Stadium Tongi, Sylhet district Stadium, Muktijoddha memorial stadium Rajshahi, Shaheed Dherendranath Stadium Cumilla, Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Stadium Munshiganj, and Basundhara Sports Complex.

In the same meeting, it was decided that with the players from under-18 teams of all the clubs in BPL, a U-18 BPL will also take place.

The schedule of the U-18 tournament will be announced later. – TBP
