“New Gayle” fails

Kennar Lewis has been tagged as the new ‘Chris Gayle’ for his batting style, but the Jamaican failed to impress with his first two BPL appearances as he was out for only six and two in his two innings so far.

Lewis faced the first ball of the BBPL this season and sent it for a six, showing that he has the right intent, but he could not prolong his prowess.

He scored only six runs in his first match, and on Saturday in the second match against Dhaka, he was out for two runs.

Chattogram Challengers have high hopes for him as they have assembled a young side without any stalwarts from the Bangladesh national side, and his poor form is not helping them to get a good start. – TBP
