400 T20 wickets for Shakib

Shakib Al Hasan reached another personal landmark on Monday when he picked up the wicket of Mahmudullah during the match between his side Fortune Barishal and Minister Dhaka.

The T20 captain of Bangladesh was Shakib’s 400th victim in T20 cricket, and with that, Shakib became only the fifth bowler to take 400 or more wickets in T20 history.

The highest wicket-taker in T20s is Dwayne Bravo with 555 wickets, who is now playing alongside Shakib for Barishal in BPL. Second on the list is Imran Tahir with 435 wickets, with Sunil Narine in third place with 425 wickets. Rashid Khan sits before Shakib with 420 wickets.

Out of Shakib’s 400 wickets, 117 wickets came in international matches and the remaining wickets he secured in domestic tournaments. – TBP
