Nazmul doubtful for next match

Sylhet Sunrisers left-arm spinner Nazmul Islam Apu is a doubt for their next match against Minister Dhaka on Friday as he picked up an injury in their last match against the same opponents.

During the match against on Tuesday, Nazmul injured his right hand while fielding and was given a couple of stitches. Sylhet won that match by seven wickets, and Nazmul was the player of the match with four wickets.

Sylhet team manager Kazi Mashuk Al Bari said that he would need the physio’s clearance before the next match to play.

“Nazmul had to get a couple of stitches due to an injury. Hopefully, we will get him back before our next match. But he will need the physio’s clearance before playing,” Mashuk said.

Nazmul has been the most successful bowler in this BPL, picking up seven wickets in two matches. -TBP
