Mujeeb ‘The Riddler’ for Soumya

Mujeeb-ur-Rahman has become ‘The Riddler’ for Soumya Sarkar as he was dismissed by the off-spinner for a duck on Saturday. This was the third time Soumya was dismissed by Mujeeb in their third meeting.

Previously, Soumya was dismissed by Mujeeb in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 for just three runs. The left-hander was judged leg before wicket and so far, that is his best against Mujeeb because in the next two occasions Soumya failed to score against the Afghan spinner.

The two cricketers locked horns again during the tri-nation T20I series in Bangladesh in the same year, where Soumya was out for a duck, that too was LBW.
