Miraz decides to stay at Chattogram

Chattogram Challengers all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz decided to stay at the team’s camp in Chattogram, after he had initially decided to leave after being removed as the team’s captain.

Chattogram Challengers had appointed Miraz as the skipper of the team ahead of the tournament, but before their match against Sylhet Sunrisers on Saturday, they informed that Naeem Islam was their new captain.

Miraz said that he got to know about this decision only three hours before the match and that it was insulting for him.

“They told me three hours before the game that I was not the captain. I asked why. If they think that way, they could have told me earlier. It’s not like I asked to be captain. This is insulting for a player,” he said. – TBP
