Afghans to play ODIs in Ctg, T20is in Dhaka

Bangladesh’s the three One-Day international matches of upcoming home series against Afghanistan will take place at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury International Stadium (ZACS), said a media release from Bangladesh Cricket Board.

Two Twenty20 International matches against the same opposition will take place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium after the completion of the three-match ODI series.

The series will start from February 23, the second match will take place on February 25 and the final match of the three-match series will place on February 28 at ZACS.

The ODIs are part of the ICC World Cup Super League, the qualification process of the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup.

The ODI matches will start from 11 am local time.

Then the teams will return to the capital for a two-match T20 series, the matches will take place on March 3 and March 5 at SBNCS.

The T20 matches will start from 3 PM in the noon.

The Afghanistan side will have a week-long training camp in Sylhet before moving to Chattogram for the ODI series.
