Another captain for Chattogram

Chattogram Challengers appointed their third captain of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League as Afif Hossain took charge of the team in their match against Minister Dhaka on Tuesday.

Afif replaced Naeem Islam as the skipper, who had previously taken over from Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

There was a huge controversy after Miraz was stripped of captaincy as the all-rounder refused to represent Chattogram after the snub. The situation was later settled between the team and the player, and the Bangladesh Cricket Board had a hearing to solve the matters.

Afif got off to a winning start as captain as they beat Minister Dhaka by three runs. – TBP
