Mahmudullah, Mushfiq join Mohammedan

Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah Riyad will play for Mohammedan Sporting Club Ltd in the Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League 2021-2022.

Mushfiq, who made the switch from archrivals Abahani Ltd, won the league in the previous season, while Mahmudullah left Gazi Group Cricketers to join his brother-in-law.

Soumya Sarker, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Nazmul Islam Apu, and Anamul Haque also signed for Mohammedan.

Bangladesh national team batsman Mahmudul Hasan Joy along with left-arm spinner Tanvir Islam, all-rounder Shamim Hossain, and top-order batsman Towhid Hridoy joined Abahani Ltd.

Shak Mahedi Hasan will represent Legends of Rupganj while Najmul Hossain Shanto will play for City club in the new season. – TBP
