Bangladeshi golfer Siddikur Rahman finished second in the Mujib Year Chattogram Open 2022 at the Bhatiary Golf and Country Club on Saturday with a score of 13 shots under par, with India’s Kshitij Naveed Kaul winning the tournament playing 19 shots under par.
Siddikur scored 69 in round four, while Kaul scored 68. Kaul earned eight lakh Indian Rupees for winning, while Siddikur won five and a half lakh Indian Rupees for coming second. The total prize money of the tournament is 50 lakh Indian Rupees.
Bangladeshi golfers Badal Hossain and Akbar Hossain jointly finished on third as they both finished with 11 shots under par. Badal scored 69 in round four, whereas Akbar scored 71.
Mohammad Shamim became the champion in the amateur category playing two more than par. – TBP
