Three Bangladesh U18 team members test Covid positive

Three members of the Bangladesh under-18 Women’s national team tested Covid-19 positive after reaching Jamshedpur in India on Saturday.

Two members of the management and one player tested positive. They were asymptomatic and are in self-isolation, awaiting another round of tests on Monday.

The under-18 women’s team will play in the South Asian Football Federation Women’s Championship 2022 in Jamshedpur in India starting from March 15.

The players will take part in a strength and conditioning session on the rooftop of their hotel on Sunday.

Bangladesh will play against Nepal on 17th and 23rd March and will take on hosts India on 19th and 25th March. – TBP
