Taskin, Shoriful to return home

Bangladesh pacers Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam will return to Bangladesh after the ongoing Durban Test against South Africa as both are injured, Bangladesh national team chief selector Minhajul Abedin informed on Sunday.

Shoriful was ruled out of the first Test due to injury, and Taskin got injured while bowling on the first day.

Minhajul said that the injuries would be assessed upon their return.

“Taskin and Shoriful are coming home after this Test match. We will take a look at them when they are back. We are trying to find out how Taskin got injured. We have four fast bowlers remaining in the squad. So we are covered,” he said.
