Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Punjab Kings by seven wickets in the Indian Premier League match on Sunday at DY Patil Stadium.
This is the fourth victory for the Ken Williamson-led side this season while Punjab lost their third game so far.
Sunrisers won the toss and elected to field first, brilliant bowling from Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Umran Malik restricted the Kings to only 151 runs in 20 overs.
Bhuvneshwar took three wickets for 22 runs and Umran also bagged four wickets for just 28 runs with a maiden.
Liam Livingstone was the highest scorer for Punjab who smashed 60 runs from 33 deliveries.
Chasing 152, Sunrisers reached the target with seven balls and seven wickets to spare, thanks to Aiden Markram (41*) and Nicholas Pooran ( 35*). Rahul Tripathi also added 34 runs. With the win SRH moved to the fourth position in the points table, and PK went down to the seventh place. – TBP
