Chomir Uddin School & College of Nilphamari district clinched the Bangladesh Football Federation National School Football Championship 2022 beating Benapol Secondary School of Jashore 1-0 in the final at the Outer Stadium of Paltan Maidan in Dhaka on Wednesday.
Chomir Uddin School & College’s Naim Islam scored the only goal in the 10th minute, which took them over the line in the grand finale.
Jilkot Hossain of Chomir Uddin School & College was adjudged the Best player of the final and his teammate Nayeem Islam became the highest scorer of the tournament with seven goals.
Saidur Rahman Rahtul of Benapol Maddhomik Biddhaloy Jessore won the Best Player of the Tournament award.
Arun Chondro High School of Noakhali took home the Best goalkeeper of the tournament award, courtesy of their goalie Shourob Shorkar’s stellar performances. Ali Edrish High School of Habiganj was given the Fair play award.
