There will be no Bangladesh national team player in the upcoming season of the Lanka Premier League as no player pitched in due to the national team’s tight schedule.
The third edition of LPL will start on July 31 and will run until August 21.
During this period, Bangladesh national team will travel to Zimbabwe for three One-Day Internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board High-Performance team are also supposed to travel to West Indies, meaning the players around the national team also opted out of putting their names in the players’ draft of LPL.
The highest pay for a player in LPL 2022 is $60,000. Nine players will receive this amount- Dwaine Pretorius (South Africa), D’Arcy Short (Australia), Imad Wasim (Pakistan), Evin Lewis, Carlos Brathwaite (West Indies), Angelo Mathews, Dasun Shanaka, Danushka Gunathilaka, and Thisara Perera (Sri Lanka). – TBP
