Dorielton nets four in Abahani’s 5-2 win

Dhaka Abahani’s Brazilian striker Dorielton Gomes scored four goals in their thrashing of relegated side Uttar Baridhara in their 21st round of matches in the Bangladesh Premier League on Sunday.

Dorielton broke the deadlock in the 18th minute to take the lead and doubled the score line in the 23rd. Th striker completed his hattrick in the 40th minute to give Abahani a 3-0 lead at half-time.

In the second half, Baridhara managed to pull one back three minutes after the restart but Abahani’s Brazilian midfielder Raphael Augusto scored in the 58th minute before Dorileton came back with his fourth in the 73rd minute to make it 4-1.

Baridhara were able to double their score in the 83rd minute, courtesy of Saiddoston Fozilov but they couldn’t quite make comeback as it ended 5-2. – TBP
