Bangladesh batsman Afif Hossain saw a rise in the latest ICC Twenty20 International batting rankings as he rose four places to 54th with 471 points following the conclusion of the three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe on Wednesday.
Batsman Mahmudullah Riyad moved up to 42nd, while his compatriot Liton Das dropped to 49th.
In the T20I bowling rankings, left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed took a hit, dropping down five places to 21st after he conceded 34 runs in an over in the deciding match of Bangladesh’s series loss against Zimbabwe.
All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan went down three places to 27th but left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman rose to 31st accumulating 538 points.
His fellow left-arm pacer Shoriful Islam also saw a drop as he went down to 50th.
