South African pacer Kagiso Rabada moved up to third in the latest International Cricket Council Test bowler rankings after his player of the match performance against England in the first Test of the series.
Rabada picked up 5-52 in the first innings, followed up by 2-27 in the second to ensure a dominating victory by the Proteas as they won by an innings and 12 runs.
Pat Cummins still sits top with 891 rating points, with Ravichandran Ashwin at second with 842 points. Rabada currently has 836 points.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan Miraz moved up one step in the ODI rankings to seventh, with Mustafizur Rahman jointly at 10th with England’s Chris Woakes.
Among Bangladesh bowlers in Tests, Taijul Islam sits at 27th, while Shakib Al Hasan sits on 29th. In the batting rankings, Liton Das dropped down a spot to 14th, while Mushfiqur Rahim is at 19th.
In the all-rounder rankings, Shakib is still third, with Ravindra Jadeja and Jason Holder in the first two positions.
Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza jumped up seven spots to 25th in the ODI batting rankings after scoring a hundred against India, taking his century toll to three in the last six matches. Shubhman Gill, with his 130 against Zimbabwe and a fifty in the first match, climbed 45 steps to 38th in the rankings.
