The fight for Asian supremacy begins

Asia Cup 2022 will start today with the clash between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. The tournament will be held in the Twenty20 Internationals format this year with the upcoming T20 World Cup in mind. Six teams, pitted in two groups, will participate in the tournament. Bangladesh are in group B along with Sri Lanka and Afghanistan, while India, Pakistan, and Hong Kong are in group A. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super 4, where all four teams will play each other before the top two reach the final.
