Bangladesh Cricket Board announced the 15-member squad for the upcoming Twenty20 Women’s World Cup 2023 qualifiers starting on September 18 in UAE.
Bangladesh were drawn into group A of the eight-nation tournament with Ireland, Scotland, and USA. In Group B, hosts UAE will battle it out against Thailand, Zimbabwe, and Papua New Guinea.
The top two teams from each group will proceed to the semis and the two finalists will guarantee a spot in the T20 World Cup next year in South Africa, where they will join Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, West Indies, and the hosts.
