Four Bangladesh players picked in T10 players’ draft

Four Bangladesh players – Mustafizur Rahman, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Taskin Ahmed, and Mrittunjoy Chowdhury – were picked from the Abu Dhabi T10 players’ draft.

Previously, Shakib was directly signed by Bangla Tigers as their icon player, meaning there will be five Bangladeshi players in the shortest version of franchise cricket.

Nurul and Mrittunjoy will play alongside Shakib as they were picked by Bangla Tigers, while Taskin was picked up by Deccan Gladiators and Team Abu Dhabi chose Mustafiz.

The Bangla Tigers team have put together a strong team considering they have signed the likes of Evin Lewis, Muhammad Amir, Colin Munro, Benny Howell, Ben Cutting, and Dan Christian.

Deccan Gladiators have Andre Russell in their squad, along with the likes of Nicholas Pooran, Mujeeb-ur-Rahman, and Jason Roy.

Delhi Bulls have Dwayne Bravo as their icon player and picked Tim David, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Rilee Rossouw, Fazalhaq Farooqi, Will Jacks, and Imad Wasim.

Wanindu Hasaranga is Norther Warriors’ icon player, and he will be accompanied by Rovman Powell, Reece Topley, Dushmantha Chameera, and Wayne Parnell.

Samp Army have David Miller as their icon and have signed Anrich Nortje, Shimron Hetmyer, Moeen Ali, Chamika Karunaratne, and Sheldon Cottrell.

Caribbean big-hitter Kieran Pollard is the icon player for New York strikers, with the likes of Eoin Morgan, Paul Stirling, Andre Fletcher, Wahab Riaz, and Akeal Hossain in the team.

Team Abu Dhabi have Chris Lynn as their icon, with Fabian Allen, Phil Salt, Adil Rashid, Tymal Mills, and James Vince in the side.

Chennai Braves have Sri Lanka skipper Dasun Shanaka as their icon player, with two other Sri Lanka players – Maheesh Theekshana and Bhanuka Rajapaksa – in the team. They also have Obed McCoy, Sikandar Raza, and Carlos Brathwaite in the side.
