As Bangladesh dismantled Ireland by 10 wickets to seal a comprehensive series win, they achieved several records on the day.
The first one was that the pacers picked up all 10 wickets for them. Before this match, the Bangladesh pacers had not even picked up nine wickets in an ODI, let alone all 10.
The second one was that they achieved the win with 10 wickets in hand, their first-ever. Before this match, the closest Bangladesh got was by nine wickets, something they had done five times before.
On Thursday, Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das put together 102 runs together in just 79 balls to reach the target unscathed.
The other was their second-quickest win as they won the match with 221 balls in hand. Their previous best was with 229 balls in hand against Zimbabwe in 2009, although that came chasing only 45.
