Bangladesh to start training today

Bangladesh Women’s Under-17 National Team will start training in Singapore today ahead of their matches in the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers.

The Bangladesh team reached Singapore on Sunday and had a rest day on Monday.

They will face hosts Singapore and Turkmenistan in the qualifiers. All the matches will be held at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore.

Bangladesh will face Turkmenistan on Wednesday before facing the hosts on April 30.

“The girls are all well. We reached Singapore today (Monday). All the girls are currently on rest. After lunch, we had a small team meeting and then we went sightseeing after the meeting. We have no practice today. We will practice tomorrow (to-day). The girls are focused on the two matches and they are thinking only about winning those two matches. We are asking for prayers from the nation for winning these two matches,” team manager Amirul Islam Babu said.
