Bangladesh Under-17 Women’s National Team will take on Turkmenistan in their first match of the AFC U17 Asian Cup Qualifiers in Singapore today.
The match will be held at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore at 6 PM Bangladesh time.
Ahead of the match, Bangladesh conducted their first training session on Tuesday evening following their stretching session earlier in the morning.
Ahead of the match, Bangladesh head coach Golam Rabbani Choton was confident that the girls would find a result in their favour if they played their usual game.
“We have come here preparing well from Bangladesh. Everybody is well. It is a big match for us tomorrow (today). Hope-fully, the girls will play their natural game and find a win.
“Turkmenistan said they will try their best. Our goal is to always respect the opposition and think of them as a strong side, doesn’t matter who the opponent is. If the girls manage to play their usual game, we will be able to win,” he said ahead of the match.
