Chattogram Challengers registered their second win out of three matches of the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League T20 as they defeated Khulna Tigers by 26 runs on Monday at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.
Batting first after losing the toss, the challengers posted a good total of 190-7 in 20 overs.
Benny Howell was the top scorer with 34 runs while the others also contributed at a fine strike-rate to amass a good total without any personal half-century.
In reply, Khulna kept losing wickets at regular intervals and they lost Andre Fletcher due to concussion which broke the tempo.
Khulna managed 165-9 in 20 overs. Yasir Ali Rabbi scored 40 runs but that only minimised the gap.
