Bangladesh were hammered by Ireland batter Harry Tector as his century allowed them to score 319-6 in the second One-Day International of three-match series in Chelmsford, England.
The match was reduced to 45 overs due to the early rain and Tector scored his career-best 140 off 113 balls to build the Irish batting innings, which posted a huge total for the Tigers.
Bangladesh started well as Hasan Mahmud removed both openers, Paul Stirling (0) and Stephen Doheny (12), but a 98-run stand between Tector and skipper Andy Balbirnie (42) brought them back into the game.
Lorcan Tucker (16) and Curtis Campher (8) were back soon but it was the partnership between Tector and George Dockrell that hammered Bangladesh to the ground.
The duo added 115 runs off just 68 balls as Tector picked up his century off just 93 balls.
Before getting out to Ebadot Hossain, he scored 140, hitting seven fours and 10 sixes.
Dockrell stayed unbeaten until the end as he scored 74 off 47 balls, hitting three fours and four sixes.
Hasan Mahmud was the pick of the Bangladesh bowlers, picking up two wickets for 48 runs in his nine overs. Shoriful Islam, despite picking up two wickets, was the most expensive as he went for 83 runs in his nine overs. Taijul Islam, who picked up a wicket, went for 59 in seven overs, while Ebadot went for 56 in his nine.
