The Asian Football Council (AFC) in association with Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) will observe ‘AFC Women’s Football Day 2022’ on Tuesday from 12:00pm at the BFF artificial turf field in Motijheel, Dhaka.
Bangladesh National Women’s football team, national age level teams, BKSP women’s football team and 200 girls from academic institutions as well as football academies will participate in celebrating the event.
Three other districts, Magura, Mymensingh, and Sirajganj, will also observe the day with the participation of 300 girls coming from various institutions throughout the districts.
Chairperson of the Committee for Women’s Football, Mahfuza Akter Kiron, General secretary of BFF, Abu Nayeem Shohag, Technical Director of BFF, Paul Thomas Smalley, and FIFA-AFC council members will be present at the event.
