Bangladesh Cricket Board director and former national team skipper Akram Khan was admitted to a Mirpur hospital Thursday, six days after he tested positive for COVID-19.
A reliable source close to his family confirmed the matter to The Business Post.
Akram Khan was admitted to the hospital upon advice of physicians, after he underwent several medical tests, said the source.
Physicians said that his lungs has been infected by 30 percent but his oxygen saturation level is good.
Earlier, Akram Khan was receiving treatment staying at home after his test report for the novel coronavirus came out positive on April 10.
