Ace archers Ruman Shana, Nasrin Akter, Diya Siddique and Fahmida Sultana were felicitated after winning gold medal in the Asia Cup Archery World Ranking Tournament, Stage-1, in Phuket, Thailand on Sunday.
A 17-member team landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Sunday and they were met with congratulatory messages by Bangladesh Archery Federation officials.
Bangladesh won three golds and one silver in the tournament.
The Ruman-Nasrin duo won gold in the Recurve Mixed Team event, the trio of Nasrin-Diya-Fahmida won in the Recurve Women’s Team event and Nasrin came out victorious against her compatriot Diya, who won silver, in the Recurve Women’s Individual event.
The archers headed to the Bangladesh Archery Federation in Tongi from the airport and were congratulated in a ceremony in presence of the federation offcials.
