Several key Australian players are set to miss the upcoming series in Pakistan.
Though Cricket Australia (CA) named full strength squad for the test series, the ODI and T20 squads do not feature quite a few big names.
CA’s national chief selector George Bailey announced a 16 man squad for the white-ball formats.
David Warner, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Matthew Wade who all have million-dollar (AUD) contracts in the Indian Premier League (IPL) will not compete in the limited over formats against Pakistan. Mitchell Starc has been rested and Glenn Maxwell will not make the trip as he will be getting married before heading to the IPL.
The first ODI will be played on 29th March at Rawalpindi.
