Bangla Tigers were crowned Champions in the Bangabandhu Memorial Cricket Tournament held in Vienna on Monday.
The tournament, consisting of four teams, was held in memory of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The Bangladesh embassy in Vienna organised the tournament in association with Bangladesh Cricket Club Austria at the Seebarn Cricket Ground.
In the final, Bangla Tigers defeated Greater Noakhali Kings to claim the title.
Charge of Affairs at the Bangladesh embassy, Rahat Bin Zaman, in Vienna was present at the tournament as the chief guest and later distributed the prizes.
He also paid his homage to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and vowed to arrange the tournament in the following years.
