Bangladesh skipper Mahmudullah Riyad opted to bat first in their final game of the preliminary round of the ICC T20 World Cup against Papua New Guinea on Thursday.

Mahmudullah said during the toss that his team were yet to display their A-game, and wanted to post a good total against PNG on a good surface.

Bangladesh have brought no changes to their XI.

Bangladesh had lost the first match of their World Cup campaign to Scotland before bouncing back with a 27-run victory over hosts Oman.
