Bangladesh Cricket Board on Wednesday confirmed the schedule of the Sri Lanka cricket team, who will be visiting here later this month to play three one-day internationals.
All three matches will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka, respectively on May 23, May 25 and May 28, according to an itinerary released by the BCB.
The Sri Lanka team will be put on three-day institutional quarantine after they arrive on May 16.
They will then train within themselves and play an intra-squad practice match before the series, said BCB chief executive officer Nizamuddin Chowdhury.
“We are basically reciprocating the Covid-19 protocol that our team followed during a recent tour,” Chowdhury told The Business Post.
Bangladesh played a two-Test series in Sri Lanka in April, which they lost 1-0.
The three ODIs in the upcoming series are part of the ICC ODI Championship.
