Bangladesh national men’s football team dropped down four more steps in the latest FIFA rankings as they are now 192nd among 211 countries.
Bangladesh lost 20.80 ranking points in the latest update after they lost all three matches in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers to Bahrain, Turkmenistan, and Malaysia. They could have dropped even further if not for their draw against Indonesia in a FIFA-friendly.
This is the first time since 2018 that Bangladesh have dropped down below 190 in the FIFA rankings.
Bangladesh are currently ranked fifth-lowest among Asian countries. Only Pakistan, Timor-Leste, Guam, and Sri Lanka are beneath them.
Bangladesh also dropped one step in the women’s ranking also.
