Bangladesh’s tour of Ireland, scheduled for 2022, has been moved to June-July of 2023, Cricket Ireland announced on Tuesday.

Cricket Ireland were set to host heavy-weights- India, New Zealand, and South Africa in the summer of 2022 confirmed the rescheduling.

Bangladesh was scheduled to play three ODIs and T20Is and a single Test match in September-October of this year right before going to the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 but the rescheduling will now see Ireland host the Tigers in 2023.

The three ODIs against Ireland will be part of the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League 2020-22/23.

Ireland will also play a five-match T20 series against Afghanistan, making the summer of 2022 the busiest month of international cricket at home in Irish history.
