Bangladesh women’s national team thrashed Hong Kong 5-0 in a friendly match courtesy of four goals from skipper Sabina Khatun.
Bangladesh, who had come from two 5-0 thrashing to Jordan and Iran in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers, gave the same treatment to the hosts.
Tohura Khatun opened the scoring in the 18th minute before Sabina doubled the scoreline to minutes prior to half-time.
In the second half, Sabina wreaked havoc as she went on to score three more goals. She scored her second in the 53rd minute before completing her hat-trick four minutes later.
She extended Bangladesh’s lead to 5-0 in the 85th minute as she scored her fourth goal.
