The UEFA assist program has come in to aid Bangladesh Football Federation with advanced broadcasting tools, which will help BFF to telecast Bangladesh Championship League matches.

BFF sent in applications to the European program after the ongoing BCL was tainted with match-fixing allegations. The match-fixing prevention committee had presented the idea of broadcasting matches via several cameras inside the ground.

“The match-fixing prevention committee suggested that we record and telecast the BCL matches with several cameras,” General Secretary of BFF, Abu Naeem Shohag, said.

“We have received advanced broadcasting equipment from the UEFA assist program and as per our plan, we will telecast the BCL matches in this ongoing season.

“We will run a test transmission on the next two days with those cameras. There are dedicated personnel to broadcast the matches and we will telecast the matches on BFF Facebook page and on YouTube,” he added.

Not only that, Shohag said that BFF, under the recommendation of the match-fixing prevention committee, will instigate intensive observations to monitor match officials and players on match days.
