The fifth round of the 13-team Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football will begin on Sunday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.
Rahmatganj MFS will play Uttar Baridhara Club at 3:30pm while Brothers Union Club will encounter Bangladesh Police FC at 6pm on the day.
On Monday, league leader Bashundhara Kings will face Dhaka Mohammedan SC at 3pm at the Shaheed Dhirendranath Dutta Stadium in Cumilla.
Dhaka Abahani will meet Chittagong Abahani at 3:30pm while Sheikh Russel KC will encounter Muktijoddha Sangsad KC at 6pm at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the day’s other fixture.
BPL Football standings
Former champions Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club will play Saif Sporting Club in the remaining fifth round match on Tuesday at 4pm at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.
Meanwhile, Federation Cup champions and star-studded Bashundhara Kings dominated the league table in the fourth round matches, securing full 12 points from four matches.
Six times champions Dhaka Abahani and former champions Sheikh Russel KC collected 10 points each from the same number of matches.
Three times champions Sheikh Jamal DC also maintained their winning run in the league, obtaining full nine points from three matches.
However, Arambagh KS are yet to open their account after playing four matches. The team remains stuck at the bottom of the 13-team league point table.
