Gambian winger Suleiman Sillah put Sheikh Jamal ahead in the 34th minute (1-0), another Gambian booter Pa Omar Jobe doubled the margin in the 59th minute (2-0) while Uzbek forward Atabek Validjanov confirmed the Sheikh Jamal victory scoring the 3rd goal in the 76th minute (3-0).
Faisal Mahmood scored the consolation goal for Brothers Union in the 81st minute (3-1).
With the day's 6th win, Sheikh Jamal DC maintained the unbeaten run in the league securing 22 points from 10 matches while the Gopibagh outfit Brothers Union collecting only two points, also playing 10 encounters.
Star studded Bashundhara Kings comfortably dominated the league securing 31 points from 11 matches while six times champions Dhaka Abahani Ltd went down to the 3rd slot, also with 22 points from 10 outings, due to scoring less goal than Sheikh Jamal DC.
In the day's other league match, Bangladesh Police FC earned the 3rd victory in their 10th league match beating bottom ranked Arambagh KS by 2-1 goals at the Bir Shreshtho Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj on Thursday.
Jamir Uddin scored first for Police team in the 14th minute (1-0) while Ivorian booter Frederic Pooda widen the Police margin scoring the 2nd goal for Police in the 29th minute (2-0).
Nihad Zaman Ucchash netted the lone goal for Arambagh KS in the 72nd minute (2-1).
With the day's feat, Bangladesh Police FC remained at 8th place in the league table collecting 12 points from 10 matches while Arambagh KS were in the bottom of the 13-team league bagging only one point from 10 matches.
