Uttar Baridhara Club forced Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club to play out a 3-3 draw in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football in Dhaka on Tuesday.
Despite the result, Sheikh Jamal remained at the third slot in the league table securing 18 points from eight matches with an unbeaten run. Bashundhara Kings (25 points) are at the top followed by Dhaka Abahani (21 points).
Uttar Baridhara Club remained at 10th place with five points from eight matches.
In the day's match, Nurul Absar put Sheikh Jamal ahead in the 9th minute (1-0) while Hakim Biswas restored the parity for Baridhara in the 28th minute (1-1).
Striker Sumon Reza put Baridhara ahead from behind scoring a goal in the 45th minute (2-1) while Papon Singh scored another in the 70th minute (3-1).
But, Gambian booter Omar Jobe came to rescue Sheikh Jamal DC from an awkward situation scoring two consecutive goals in the 73rd and 90th minute respectively to equalise the score.
Jobe also reclaimed the top scorer position with 20 goals ahead of Robson Robinho of Bashundhara Kings.
