Brazilian football legend and member of the 2002 World Cup Champions Brazilian team, Ronaldinho, arrived in Dhaka Wednesday afternoon on a short trip from Kolkata, India.

The three-time Ballon d’Or winner Brazilian star footballer reached the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at about 3:30pm, amid huge enthusiasm of the soccer-crazy local fans.

After completing the airport formalities, the Brazilian icon directly reached the Hotel Radisson, which was freshly decorated to welcome him.

After taking a rest in the hotel, Ronaldinho is scheduled to make a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganobhaban this evening.

During his short stay in Bangladesh, the Brazilian superstar is scheduled to meet the captains of Bangladesh men's and women's football teams Jamal Bhuyan and Shabina Khatun at Hotel Radisson.

Later, he will also join in a meet and greet event for the selected guests at the same hotel before leaving the capital at 11pm on Wednesday.

Earlier, Ronaldinho reached Kolkata Sunday evening on a three-day tour.

Ronaldinho met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banarjee and gifted a jersey to her.
