Bangladesh Sports Press Association will hand out BSPA Sports Awards 2021 at the Intercontinental Hotel on June 3.
BSPA will felicitate the Bangladesh under-19 Cricket World Cup 2019 winning team and best sports performers.
Cricketer Mehidy Hasan Miraz, footballer Topu Barman, and archer Diya Siddique made it to the shortlist for the BSPA Player of the Year Award.
Women’s cricketer Sharmin Akter Supta also made her way into the Popular Choice Award nominations along with Mehidy, and Topu.
This year, BSPA will give away 19 awards in 16 categories to current and former players, organisers and sponsors.
Mehidy was adjudged the Cricketer Of The Year Award, while the Footballer Of The Year Award went to Topu.
Voting polls for the Popular Choice Awards will be open till May 20 on BSPA’s official website, http://www.bspa.com.bd/
General secretary of BSPA, Mohammad Samon Hossain, revealed the nominees today at the Bangladesh Olympic Association auditorium.
