The Business Post started with a win over Radio Today in the Walton-DRU Media Cricket Tournament.
The match was held at the Outer Stadium in the capital's Paltan on Thursday at 8:00am.
A total of 52 teams are playing in eight groups in the tournament under the knockout system. The champion team of each group will qualify to the quarter-finals.
Walton-DRU Media Cricket-2021 'organised by Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) and sponsored by Walton Group has started from Wednesday.
Bangladesh Cricket Board Director Ahmed Sajjadul Alam Bobby inaugurated the tournament.
Uday Hakim, senior executive director, Walton Group was present as the special guest at the inaugural function presided over by DRU President Mursalin Nomani. DRU General Secretary Moshiur Rahman Khan gave a welcome speech at the inaugural function.
