Bangladesh Cricket Board finally allows spectators in Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League but in limited capacity, said BCB director Tanvir Ahmed Titu.

But tickets for four remaining matches of the ongoing BPL will not be sold in the counters, said the media committee chairman,

“Three to four thousand spectators will be allowed to come in the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, but to avoid crowd we are not going to sell the tickets on counters”, Titu told the journalists on Sunday.

The BCB director said that the franchises will have to buy tickets straight from the board as per their requirements,  

“We will provide tickets through the participating franchises so that they can supply tickets to their fans who can come and enjoy their team’s matches by maintaining social distancing”, Titu told the reporters.

Only a limited number of spectators will be allowed to enter the stadium who will be seating in scattered way by maintaining social distancing.

The spectators shall wear masks and carry vaccine certificates along with match tickets to enter the stadium, said the BCB director.
