Mohammedan Sporting Club batsman Mahmudullah Riyad failed to maintain his composure as he kicked the glass-door leading to the dressing room after getting dismissed for 48 runs while batting first against Rupganj Tigers Cricket Club in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League on Saturday.
Mahmudullah, who captains Bangladesh in Twenty-over internationals, lost his cool on his way to the dressing room after edging a ball off left-arm spinner Enamul Haue Jr to the wicketkeeper. Mahmudullah, who was baffled as the ball kept low, tried to cut away a delivery that came in straight with the arm but ended up nicking it.
On his way back to the dressing room, he showed his dissent towards the ground staff, pointing his bat towards them. He then went on to kick the dressing room door in anger as he walked inside.
On the other hand, it was elation for Enamul Haque Jr and his team, Rupganj Tigers, as they won the match against Mohammedan by seven wickets.
Enamul, who was adjudged player of the match, picked up his maiden five-wicket haul in DPL, with figures of five for 41 runs.
