English batter Dawid Malan scored an amazing hundred which ensured England beat Bangladesh by three wickets in the first one day international match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka on Wednesday.
Winning the toss Bangladesh skipper Tamim Iqbal opted to bat first, but the Bangladeshi batters failed to make their innings go big and were all-out on 209 on the 48th over.
Coming to chase, England were pushed onto the back foot as Bangladeshi bowlers gave them no space, and at one point they were three down at 45, but then Malan took it all upon himself as he batted till the end making sure his side make it all the way.
England reached the target with three wickets and eight balls to spare.
With the win England moved 1-0 up in the three match bilateral series.
