Bangladesh Football Federation Senior Vice-President Salam Murshedy stepped down from his role as the chairman of the Bangladesh Premier League Committee on Saturday.
The former Bangladesh national team footballer announced his decision citing workloads from his business and political life.
Murshedy is currently the lawmaker of Khulna-4. He has previously served as the president of BGMEA.
The 58-year-old however will remain the VP of BFF and will continue to serve as the chairman of finance as well as the referee’s committee.
