Bangladesh will bat first in their final match of the 2021 T20 World Cup against Australia after Aussie skipper Aaron Finch won the toss and opted to field first.
Bangladesh lost all of their first four games in the Super 12 stage after barely making through the preliminary round with two wins and a loss.
Bangladesh are without the services of Shakib Al Hasan and Mohammad Saifuddin, who have been ruled out of the World Cup with a hamstring and back injury respectively.
Bangladesh have brought in one change to their XI as Mustafizur Rahman has replaced left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed.
Bangladesh skipper Mahmudullah Riyad hoped to put a decent total on board.
“We need to put a decent total on the board. It's been tough in this tournament, we haven't played to potential. We need to play for pride and prove ourselves,” he said.
Australia have also brought in one change as Mitchell Marsh has replaced Ashton Agar.
