Opener Mohammad Naim has been included in the Bangladesh squad for the upcoming Asia Cup in 2022, while Nurul Hasan Sohan and Hasan Mahmud have been ruled out.
Naim was dropped from the Twenty20 International side after the Afghanistan series earlier this year. But his century in the Caribbeans playing for Bangladesh A in the second One-Day of the three-match series seemingly opened the door for him.
On the other side of the coin is Hasan Mahmud, who was initially picked for the Asia Cup but got injured during training on Saturday.

The team management decided to wait, but tests have revealed he suffered ligament damage to his right ankle and is sidelined for at least three weeks.
Nurul injured his index finger during the three-match T20I series in Zimbabwe, and he was always a doubt for the tournament despite his selection. He underwent an operation two weeks back and now needs more time to recover.
